Categories we may collect

• Identifiers — name, email, phone, postal address (if you provide it)
• Commercial information — private-event or inquiry details; interest in events
• Internet / device activity — pages viewed, IP address, browser type, and cookie IDs only if you Accept non-essential cookies
• Inferences — limited preferences from how you use the site (e.g. event interest)

Sources & purposes

From you (forms, phone, email, in person), your device (after consent where required), and service providers such as Eventbrite when you register for community events or related tools for private-event inquiries. We use this to respond to you, run events, send newsletters you request, operate and secure the site, and comply with law.

Sale / sharing & partners

We do not sell personal information for money. If advertising or analytics cookies would count as “sharing” under CCPA/CPRA, they load only after you Accept all. Partners may include Eventbrite, email/hosting providers, and inquiry tools. Their policies apply when you leave our site.

Retention

We keep each category only as long as needed for the purpose collected, plus tax, accounting, legal, and dispute-resolution periods. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your California rights

Know/access, delete, correct, opt out of sale/sharing, limit use of sensitive personal information (if applicable), and non-discrimination. This site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. We do not send marketing SMS from this site unless you separately opt in under applicable law.

Mission Bay Beach Club is committed to digital accessibility. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and improve this site over time.

Conformance status: Partially conformant — most of the site meets the standard; we continue to remediate gaps. Assessed by internal review (automated checks + manual keyboard testing), not a third-party audit. We have not completed full screen-reader testing of third-party event tools.

Third parties: Eventbrite (community event tickets) and private-event inquiry tools are outside our direct control. We prefer clean outbound links over embeds. Phone and in-person alternatives are always available for ordering by phone, events, and questions.

Website notes & fees

This site is informational. We do not take online food orders or dining reservations; seating is first-come, first-served and for paying customers only; reservations are available through semi-private and fully private event options. Menus, prices, hours, and events may change.

Service charge: A 2.5% service charge is applied to support fair wages and the rising costs of employing a strong team. Credit-card payments incur an additional 3% fee to offset processing costs, not exceeding our cost of accepting the card payment. See the menu’s payment notice.

Gift cards: Ask in person or by phone. Gift cards sold by us do not expire and do not carry dormancy fees under California law; balances under $10 may be redeemable for cash as required by law.

Alcohol: Valid government-issued ID required. We may refuse service consistent with law. Community events may use Eventbrite; their terms apply to tickets.

Allergens

Our kitchen handles the major allergens: milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. Cross-contact is possible.
